16 ounce can. Honey gold color. Frothy beige head. Earthy, toasted malt flavor. Bittersweet toasted malt flavor. Emphasis on bitter. Big astringent, bitter coffee notes. Way out of balance. Lacking any malty sweetness. A bit of a disappointment.

12 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Bright brassy gold color. Frothy white head. Grainy malt aroma. Sweet malty flavor. Notes of light caramel and berries. Clean and crisp with a dry hop finish.

Sampled on draft at Tapped this beer poured a golden color with a large foamy white head that left great lacing. The aroma was musty and citric. The flavor was dryish, musty and citric with a yeasty undertone. Medium length finish. Medium body.

12 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Bright, brassy gold color. Large frothy white head. Citrus fruit nose hints at pine. Bitter hoppy notes upfront. Slightly dank and piney. Dry, crisp bitter finish.

Bottle at home, nice finding an affordable mead and in case this style gets broken out someday I need dem braggots. Pours orange gold not head. Nose is honey and blueberry. Tastes decent enough light blueberry but not artificial, honey but not too sweet, some grass, lemon, and wheat. Some sweetness and crisp enough.
