Bottle. Pours with a hazy pale golden body and a fading white head (leaves a ring). Aroma of oddly phenolic yeast. Estery. Very dry with light hints of adjunct (read syrup) sweetness. A touch of plastic and fusel. A bit of raisiny and pear fruit esters on top of the [needless to say] apple character. A bit of Macintosh. Flavor is somewhat sweet. Lots maple character in the flavor that isn’t in the aroma. Somewhat nutty as well. Crisp fruit flavor. Somewhat dry finish. Pretty nice actually. Light bubbles. Very decent.

Bottle. Pours with a small ring of white foam over a hazy but very pale yellow body. Nearly a glowing green hue. Aroma is very authentic as far as real cider. Honey, but very faint. Kind of a bland, aroma. Smells like supermarket bought honey, kind of minerally. Flavor is very floral honey, a bit sweet, apple, some sweet applesauce. Not bad. I think the cut the the fermentation process a bit early to save some sweetness. Tingling small bubbles. Really not a bad, sort of mass produced cider.

Bottle. Pours with a very pale golden body. Fading foam. Dry, very dry, aroma. Minerals, apple core. Taste dry, delicate apple flavor. Not a ton of character, but not overdone with sugar. Forgettable, but not bad or repulsive at all. The best of the 12 oz Crispins. Light bubbles. Medium to dry finish.

Bottle. Clear gold and not as pale of a pour as the light. Slightly darker than the Brut as well. Dry, slightly perfumey. A bit sweet. Crisp aroma. Flavor is dry, nearly pear. Taste is quite watered down. Thank god it is not back sweetened to within an inch of its life! Slight tannic and twangy. Not horrible. Dry, small, lively bubbles.

Bottle. Pours with a pale, clear, yellow body and minimal head or lacing. Aroma is sweet, jolly ranchers, chalk and sticky honey. Cloying aroma. Not as cloying as it smells. A bit of sulfur. Watery flavor. Sort of a dry apple finish. Really not offensive as the Woodchucks (and other alcohopop ciders), but not good.

22 oz. bomber from Whole Foods, Hinsdale. Poured over ice per suggestion. Cloudy, whitish cider with lots of nice fizz. Tart smell, but I can easily recognize the Honey Crisp apples. I find the apple taste a bit light, probably did not need the ice since it was nicely chilled. Sweeter than most ciders I know, and admittedly I don’t know a lot of them. Even without ice, though, the cider taste is a bit thin. Might have done well without adding honey.

22oz bomber. Sweet honey and white grape aroma. Pale, thin yellow with some CO2 bubbles. No head. Somewhat reminds me of a really light white wine. Sweet and light on the palate. Some interesting apple tastes after a few sips, but a little thin for me. Refreshing.

Bottle, ABR 2009. Served over ice. A cloudy, hazy cider. Real apple aroma with yeast. Medium sweet flavor, good palate, and a little thick. The best of their ciders.
