(Draught at Muted Horn, Berlin, 27 Aug 2017) Reddish amber colour with frothy, pinkish head. Fruity nose with notes of cherries, almonds, raspberries and vanilla. Malty, fruity taste with cherries, cranberries, vanilla, almonds and a slightly sweetish finish with low bitterness and a slight tartness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty, fresh and fruity. Nice one.

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, wood, port - dark fruit, chocolate - vanilla - bourbon. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted - chocolate, dark fruit, wood. Keg at the Beavertown Extravaganza, day one, 09/09/17. Golden copper with a decent off white covering. Nose is earthy hops, light pine, tangerine, straw, melon. Taste comprises caramel malts, biscuit, orange pith, lemon tinged straw, toasted malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with balanced hop bitterness. A touch whelming ... average for the style ... old Skool but a touch formulaic.

On tap at the brewery pours out a ink black topped with a tan head. Nose is bourbon barrel notes vanilla heat some chocolate and coffee. Taste is more of the nice big bourbon barrel notes vanilla coffee and roast.
