Bottle thanks to Kan. Pours a clear yellow gold with a thin white head that lasts and remains. Aroma has notes of honey and sweet grains with a hint of backing sweet grains. Flavor has some light fruits and sweet honey with backing sweet grain.

Tasting @ Home with J&C, October 2011. Bottle from Jan. As wild Blossom Sweet Desire. Clear golden color with no head. Itnense aroma of heavy honey, vanilla, some wood and blossoms. Mellwo and balanced taste of honey, vanilla, caramel and a touch of bourbon. Grat stuff.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Comes as "Wild Blossom Sweet Desire" at 14.5% ABV. Pours a clear yellow. Distinct Bourbon aroma atop quite some honey. Solid body, sweet luscious honey and again very distinct Bourbon. Warming alcohol finish. Delicious. 251111

Bottle, looking like some lab equipment. As Sweet Desire. Pours a clear, dark golden body, oily. Nice honey aroma with some flowery hints, a spiced note and alcohol. Sweet, honey flavor with flowers and an acidic touch. Quite dry, full-bodied and warming. Long finish with alcohol warmth and lots of pleasant honey and flower flavors. It’s a nice mead, but it fails to impress, at least according to scores. 111125

Bottle. It pours a clear, golden body. The aroma has a distinct orangey touch, with more regular honey in the back. Flowers too. The flavor has that same distinct orangey touch, dominating almost completely. There’s some alcohol warmth, it’s full-bodied and quite dry, and with a long, honey and orange finish. An unusual mead, not my favorite, but with a nice orangey twist. 111105

Bottle 500ml. [ As Wild Blossom Sweet Desire ].Clear medium yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to heavy honey, alcohol - bourbon, wood, moderate flowers - blossom. Flavour is heavy sweet with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is syrupy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. [20111008]
