375 ml corked bottle from 2017. Initial smell is of a re Cabernet, kind og dry, but with barrel notes coming up. Some blueberry comes up in the nose after that. Appearance is dark purple, like a berry wine. Taste offers more of its barrel aging, with a dry and tart berry palate. Nice, but just not as sweet as I'd want from a mead. Like a nice red wine with some berry overtones.

Bottle. Pours a hazy copper gold with no head. The aroma/flavor is honey, bourbon, wood, floral, nice sweetness, very good.

Dark blood color. Light cherry aroma. Sweet but with enough acidity and a bit of astringency, nice cherry wine flavor, although not the deepest, nice alcohol warmth.
Couldn’t tell it’s a mead though.

Pours clear red . Smell is plastic ,cherry , fruits .Taste is Wattery , cherry , bit of mead background . rather dry , wattery mouthfeel . OK , dont love it .

Purchased at Bottles and Cans in Chicago, IL; enjoyed at home trying to escape the humidity. Appearance is like sparkling cranberry juice, no head, clearish dark ruby. Aroma is sour with light honey, as well as light apple. Taste goes down very sweet with some definite sour, finishes dry, honey adds to the mouthfeel. Overall it’s decent, not something I’d typically go for but enjoyable.
