Black color, strong character from the roasted malt, a bit ashy indeed, and with a touch of something that can be orange peel. Dry mouthfeel.
Stout by the book that can please any Stout lover.

Bottle - Vintage 2015 - Funky farmhouse notes. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Light sour noted, rich wine and boozy notes with a long funky finish. Draft - Some estery notes and apple. Clearish gold with almost no head. Funky, yeasty apple notes with some earthy notes. Oddly interesting with some boozy sweetness in the finish.

No head at all, slight haze, peachy nose, light apricot, kettle sour, quite bracing lacto...reminds me of Fage without the sweetness. Still lots of peach, apricots .

Hazy light amber, thin head. Sweet, golden plums, very minimal brett, light alcohol, it’s not a bad beer, as wheat wines go.

Cloudy blond color with compact head. Some apricot nice, dry mouthfeel, light sourness, some unwanted vegetable presence, a bit astringent in the final, a touch of citrus fruits, and correct bitterness level.
Refreshing, pleasant.

On tap at 12 Kings, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is fairly restrained, with some lacto and pedio. Flavour is quite complex, with wild yeasts upfront, a slight tartness and a gentle hoppiness. Everything is cohesive, with no jagged edges. One of the better local kettle sours.

Draft - Lotos of dark toasty oat notes. Jet brown with a light brown head. Lots of roast notes. Light bitter chocolate and a nice finish. Orange is a bit lost on me, but still nice.

On tap at St Augustine's, pours a near-black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out notes of oats and maybe a touch of cocoa sweetness. Flavour brings out dry cocoa, oats and then the orange peel. Rather dry, bitter and somewhat metallic on the finish. Body is thin and lifeless. Not very impressive.
