On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a hazy orangey yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of fruitiness and light herbal notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with citrusy fruity notes and light herbal biscuity malt. Quite fruity for a helles. Really well done.

Bottle: Poured a light pale yellow color ale with a nice pure white foamy head with great retention and some very good lacing. Aroma of light dry Brett notes with some white wine notes and dry floral hoppy notes makes for an enticing aroma. Taste is quite complex with nice layers of dry Bretty notes with some white wine notes and light floral hoppy undertones. Body is about average with great carbonation. I absolutely loved the different layers of flavours in this beer.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings various funky yeasts and light presence of the wine barrels. Flavour is funky and vinous, with various funky yeasts showcasing here, accentuated beautifully by the pinot noir barrels. Lots of depth to this, yet the palate remains light and thus this is easy to drink. Excellent stuff.

Bottle from Darby’s Liquor, Vancouver, purchased 1 year ago
Cloudy orange-amber color with compact head. Mild aroma, light spices and light esters, malt, light vanilla. Medium body strength; it has a bit too much yeast, which adds some astringency; the malt profile is not exciting, with a very light vegetables touch; ordinary bitterness.
A bit amateur-ish, but not bad.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy opaque amber orange with a small beige head. Nose brings out notes of oxidation (a little cardboard), caramel and stone fruits. Flavour is along the same lines, though thankfully without the oxidation, with caramel, stone fruits, and light hopping. Thin palate as wheat wines generally do. Not overly complex, but decently constructed.
