Troebel donkergeel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is fruitig en licht bitterzoet met iets van citrus, wat gras en sinaasappel. Niet echt de Weizen smaak die je verwacht maar wel degelijk een heel goed bier.

Stable beige head. Pecan pie, maple syrup, pancake, milk chocolate, fudge. Sweet maple, chocolate, bittersweet pecan & coffee. Earthy hops, vanilla bean, warming liqueur-like alcohol. Oily texture. Very intense, lovely.

A clear orange brown beer with a white lacing. Aroma of strong caramelized malt, dried fruits, booze. Taste of sugary caramelized malt, nuts, molasses, boozy finish.

Clear dark brown beer, small creamy dense beige head, a little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of pecan nuts, caramel, good roast, some vanilla. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: more roast, bitter, hoppy, dry, some alcohol, a touch of coffee, a bit oxidized, maple syrup. Aftertaste: sweet touch, alcohol, bitter, good roast, slightly hoppy, more oxidation notes, good!

Bottle from Beer in a Box. Sweet and pretty boozy. Maple and roast with chocolate and burning alcohol in the finish. A bit much.

Tap at 6e Midzomer Bier en BBQ festival, Hillegom: Slightly hazy orange colored brew with an dry bitter taste, hints of caramel, citrus and some slightly resin.

Small cream-coloured head, reasonably stable over opaque redbrown beer. Bit dusty nose, brown malts, fusels, soggy brown bread. Alcoholsweet, fusels, preserved fruit, liqueured oranges, dates, figs etc. Alcoholburn - if held in check - warming, full-bodied, viscous, almost chewy. Well carbonated. For such a young brewery - in an unlikely place at that - quite deserving. A perfect example of the nonsense of "beerstyles": the website speaks about barley wine, whilst the bottle mentions quadrupel...
