The bottle looks simple but good, as well as the beer in the glass. Nice head. Starts hoppy, modest dry, a bit spicy. Gets more and more wheaty, finish a bit too dry and also metallically. Not more than average!

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Hazy orange colour with small white head. Aroma is wheat, some slight bready notes, also rather sweet mildly acidic fruity notes along with earth. Flavour is wheat, toffee, some caramel, mild acidic fruits as well as some wooden notes. A bit too acidic for my likes.

Bottle (thanks to Garching!): Hazy, chestnut-amber coloured, smaller off-white head, quickly collapsing; dry black berries in the solid caramelly-wheaty nose, supported by a touch of toasted malt; medium bodied, relatively soft; moderate sweet-sourish flavour; dried fruits and toasted malt in the caramelly wheaty finish. good sample.....

Bottle: Pale golden, hazy, small to medium-sized white head, leaving a little lace; sweet wheaty-fruity nose with a tinge of cloves; moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, almost medium bodied; mild sourish-tart finish. Quite O.K., average Weizen, gently underrated.......

The bottle looks simple, but good. The beer in the glass is not too turbid, nice head. Starts malty, modest smoky-roasty. Not too yeasty, a but nutty with notes of cinnamon and caramell. Finish well balanced. Very drinkable and good beer!

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Sweet and bready (cara-)malty, also slightly draffy aroma with herbal and slightly sweaty hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Hearty malty taste, slightly bready with light hints of cara-malt and herbal accents; sweet-bitter and slightly hoppy finish. (bottle) Hazy, dark amber to brown colour with a massive greige foamy head. Wheaty and slightly fruity aroma of cassis and light notes of banana. Moderately sweet and slightly sour flavour, light to hardly medium body with a lively carbonation. Yeasty and wheaty taste with a faint toasty touch and notes of cassis. A bit slim fruit-accented wheaty finish. Middle of the road Dunkelweizen. 22.IX.09

(bottle) Hazy, yellow to pale golden colour with a mid-sized frothy white head. Yeasty and moderately wheaty aroma with notes of lemon and banana. Moderately sour flavour, light to medium bodied. Wheaty and citrus-fruity taste almost without the usual phenolic cornucopia, which I appreciate; mildly sour and citric, also slightly tart finish. A kind of bland Hefeweizen, although underrated compared to other swill. 21.IX.09
