Klare goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, leicht hopfiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, leicht grasig hopfig. Mittlere Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Bottle picked up from REWE Getränkemarkt, Zolling I think. Consumed at home after doing my homework for Beer school with Nat. Pours gold with a white head, pretty good clarity. A little cereal dominant and a little bit sweet. It's ok, but there are thousands of beers out there that are better than this.

From bottle. Mostly grainy and bready, straw and hay, dry citrus hoppy notes, hints of marzipan. Malty sweetness, dry hoppy bitterness. Full bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry malty finish. Decent example of an Exportbier.

500 ml bottle. Pours dark brown with a foamy head. Lots of chocolate, roasted malt, dry citrus notes, some caramel, grassy hops. Malty sweetness, toasty hoppy bitterness. Medium to full bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry malty bittersweet finish. Really nice flavorful Dunkles, even Stout-like! Seems they have changed the recipe from 2020 given that has now 5.6 abv.

From bottle. Lemonade, lemon juice, hints of beer. Mild dryness, some sweetness. Light bodied, watery texture, lively carbonated, dry sweet finish. Not bad.
