Canned from Kaufland Split. Clear yellow-golden with a disappearing white head. Aroma... green apple and glue, acetaldehyde all over the place. Suuure, it’s according to Reinheitsgebot, but it’s still shoddily brewed cheap crap, released too early or underpitched or... who cares. Made cheaper all in all. Light grainy notes underneath the acetaldehyde. Taste... yup, green apple. Acetaldehyde rules again, grain underneath. This can could literally be used instead of the industrial off flavor kit. Medium to light hop extract bitterness. Not worth the money wasted on it. And since someone flat out deleted my old rating of this (and heavy’s and other people’s) in 2011 or whatever before making a wrong alias, perhaps, insult to injury, folks. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Stephans Bräu Lager Premium on 27 Dec 2024 at 18:45 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 4 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6. Original review text: Can from Kaufland Poljička, Split. Shared with heavy. Golden body, white head. The aroma doesn't thrill - alcohol, herbal hops, some generic maltiness, meh, bit rough. The taste is, however, a pleasant surprise for this type of beer. It's dry and bitter, big herbal hop, lightly malty, ending with a solid bitter kick - pilsnerish even! Welp, hope it's usually like this - unlike the others, I might pick it here and there if needed.

Can from Kaufland in Split. Golden body, clear (whoo whee), big, thick white head that went away relatively fast. Sweet aroma, dull, grainy, bit soapy. Messy taste, metallic, corn flakes, citric touches, cardboard, sweetish, soapy, ending dry and vague. I really don’t know why anyone would buy more than one of this ever.... Eh, not the worst n/a ever, but not far.

Još jedna Kaufland piva. Poznata po tome da ne može biti dobra. Strašno je slatka. Kao da je pošećerena. Završila u sudoperu nakon 2 gutljaja....

5.8% alk.

Bljuv, bljuv, bljuv i bljuv! 3% alk. Jedna od onih koje su tako loše da završe u sudoperu.

Can, 0.5l. Slightly cloudy orange pour with reddish hue, muddy looking, one finger soapy white head, quickly diminishing. Sugary nose, artificial raspberry. Faint maltiness in the background. Thin to medium body, a bit high on the carbonation. Surprisingly thick on the tongue. Taste and aroma are all over the place. Sugary sweet, molasses, malt. Strong acidity, a bit unpleasant bitterness. Some tart notes. Faint grassy character. Sticky mouthfeel. Somewhat bitter finish. Overall, meh. Below average soda.

PET 2L brewed by Martens Romania. Clear dull golden, small head. Smells husky and skunky, with sweetish chemicals/medicine. Thin, slightly sweet malty water, light but harsh grassy and husky bitterness. The sunkiness does a good job masking the shitty malts - bonus point! Well, not as bad as its price suggests.

Can shared at the Chris & Ruth pre GBBF shindig tasting 2016 - London. Cheers! Pours totally clear, very pale yellow with a slim white head. Sugary lemon candies in the nose, faint detergent. Very sweet flavour, exceedingly simplistic, artificial. Light bodied, fizzy. Sugary finish, cloying, with sugary lemon as well. Eh, too sweet, even for the style.
