35 cl bottle sent for review. Made with 100% organic bittersweet apples. This has more of a crushed apple smell, without as much sugar in the nose, or in the taste. The dryness makes the alcohol a bit more noticeable, and the prickly effervescence keeps this from getting to sticky. Clear gold, sparkles like a champagne.

35 cl bottle, sent for review. It pours an interesting brownish-red. There was some fizz. The nose is not too strong, and has a lighter touch of apple flesh, and peel. The taste is fizzy and sweet. I notice that of the ciders I got, this one has sugar, “natural flavors,” and coloring added (and that it's odd that ciders have to list their ingredients and calories on the label, but beers can't). That’s not automatically a bad thing, but knowing it’s there, I can’t help but wonder what a cider made straight from these apples would taste like; probably more tart than most palates would enjoy. So this first bottle is pretty sweet, kind of a dessert cider.

330ml bottle. Pours reddish orange, some white foam on top. Nose is sweet, stuffy with apple juice, clearly tart. Tastes tart but that is barely hiding the sweetness. Light acidity continues for a while, finishes tart as well. I guess that's coming from these red apples. Not bad but difficult to drink more than one small bottle of it.

Pours light straw, god carbonation and many rising bubbles, some white foam on the top. Good apple juice character in the nose, clean and fleshy, with light added sulfur edge. Tastes medium, good carbonation. Sweet underneath, pretty damn sweet - but mainly feels like heavily carbonated apple juice with some light smokiness. Has character which is a good thing in my book. Dry juicy finish.

On tap at Schilling Cider House - Seattle, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out rotting apples, vegetal notes, and crisp apple skins. Flavour is along the same lines, with dry farmhouse notes atop vegetal and rotting notes. Ugh, there is something nice under here, but it's not executed well. Not impressive as a farmhouse French cider.

Looking at the rates below maybe this ain’t the right spot. Apple, sweet, light tart. Medium bodied. Quite nice.

33cl bottle from Lidl. 4,5% version. Pours light red in color with a thin bubbly head. Intense apple aroma, perfumy like, apple skin. But also very sweet. Red apples dominates, sweet finish.
