That great floral aroma so common to Morland ales. Takes me back across the pond. Nice light amber color, and a hardly present white head. Looks just like an English pump. Starts just a bit malty sweet, the floral hop can’t quite balance the malt, but hey, it’s English. It doesn’t have to balance. There is enough bitter in the finish to make it wonderful. Absolutely.

Cloudy light brown with an orange hue...minimal foam...split second aroma of over-cooked broccoli or spinach...also caramel and fruit...thin body...watery flavor.."malt flavored h2o"....balanced well a bit of hops in the finish...damn good thing a whole 6 pack wasn’t purchased

Pours bright amber into an English pint from a clear bottle. Fluffy white micro head has excellent retention - leaves slight lacing as it recedes. Malt and metallic aromas. Smooth caramel with a lasting bitter hop finish.

Mteallic smell. Thick sudsy head and copper color. Cherry and vanilla flavor, no aftertaste. Thin mouthfeel. Slight non hop bitterness at first. Not nearly as bad or bitter as I expected. Not a good representative of the genre.

Pour is a bright orange with a big white head with lots of floaties. Aroma is fruity and almost like wine with some malts and candi sugar. Flavor is super vinegar and bitter with lots of dark fruit and some mustyness. Kind reminds me of a red wine. Tasty especially if you like you beer tart and sour.

Cask handpull at Willow Walk, JDW, Victoria. Amber with thin beige head. Minerally, tangerine, yeasty bitter, confused, muddy. Tangerine flavours are fine. Bit muddled but fruity malt is decent.

Bottle conditioned. Very lively with lots of sediment, but poured a crystal clear caramel colour with a loose white head; yeasty aroma; malty body with heavy carbonation, some fruit; full and well-balanced finish with moderate bitterness.

(50 cl bottle from Systembolaget) Clear dark brown color, tan head. Sweet malty and sticky caramel scent. Strong alcohol taste, some burnt malt. A bit spritzy mouthfeel, medium bitterness.
