Head is a light tan colour with a nice brown hue. The aroma varies between a nice caramel malty scent to a little citrusy / metal combination. The initial flavour has a light bitterness with hints of malts. Very watery, not much of a palate. It kind of lingers with almost a spruce flavour...very small but ends bitter.

Grassy, hoppy smell with a touch of bread. There is a yeasty tinge to the beer, cominmg out through the caramel and hops. Funny, since the beer is canned. Drunk at room tempereature.

Hazy amber, huge beige head. Plentiful bead. Aroma of yeast and stale beer.Slightly sour malt flavor with unpleasant alcohol heat and not much else. Rather unpleasant in general. Not a good effort

Dark amber in colour with a very full thick off-white head. Tons of very small bubbles rise from the bottom, just like a good bottle-conditioned ale. A decent smell, english hops and a full maltyness dominate the aroma. Medium bodied with a few flavours going on in the background, but none overpowering. Smokeyness, mustyness and definately malty. Some of the english hops come out in the aftertaste, as well. This one isn't offensive at all, and if anything isn't set in its ways enough. A good beer, but not great. I had this from a 50 cL bottle purchased at SoutTown Beverage in Rochester, New York.

(500 ml bottle). Beautiful brown / dark golden colour, moderate to low head. Moderate malty aroma, malty flavour with a good bitterness. One of my "go-to" beers.

A yellow beer with no head and no aroma. The flavor is slightly bitter and slightly sweet. A good balanced but below average beer.

An amber beer with a small head. The nose is slight with fruity notes. The flavor is great, with a nice sweetness and a lot of nuances - a well rounded beer which makes it a great beer.

Scent of hops. Very fancy bottle. Sediment left in bottom of bottle. Strange aroma, difficult to describe but not offensive. Light red with a head that lasted a long time. Some taste of hops, but also more sourness than I would have liked. Finished a little sweet without much aftertaste. The appearance was probably the best thing about this beer. The taste was a disappointment. Like so many British beers, it might have lost something due to the clear bottle. High alcohol taste slightly noticeable. Not bad.

Orange tinted Amber colour...quick dissolving off-white head. Aroma is fairly skunky. Slightly acidic taste with odd-flavours. Not a great beer, but not a bad beer!

Tastes similar to "Sheffield Bitter" at a pub in Rochester, New York...but a great overall Pub Ale from England! Orange tint to a golden body, with a great widget style head on top, which lasts for a long time. Great Pale smell. A nice overall pub ale with some malt and even a little bit of hoppyness!
