(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a short foamy white layer. Slightly sweet (cara-)malty and subtle fruity nose with herbal hops in the background. Moderately bitter flavour, light bodied with a smooth and well-matured carbonation. Cara-malty, slightly chalky and very subtle fruity taste, leading into a dry and moderately bitter hoppy finish. Not overly exciting but still a decent and likeable brew (19.08.08).

Bottle: Grainy to malty/bready nose with a metallic tinge; golden to deep golden coloured, smaller, but lacy white head; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, malty base detectable; sweetish-malty finish with a light hoppiness. O.K., quite sweet...........

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Moldy aroma. Starts spicy. wheaty, a bit alcoholic. The finish is more moldy than spicy, a bit metallically. Drinkable!

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also light notes of straw, while the flavor is sweet mlaty again with primary notes of caramel, but also a light touch of metal - from the hops?

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a lacing white head. Mild cornish and light fruity aroma. Medium dry and slight breadish malt flavour with a light spice note in the hops accent. Medium bitterness and slight spiced too.

Bottle: Hazy, pale golden, mid-sized loose head that slowly diminishes; herbal hoppy nose with a sweet-malty and grainy background; solid bitter-sweet flavour, soft MF, light bodied; bitter-hoppy finish combined with grainy and malty influences. Pleasant stuff....

(bottle, Spezial 205, 5.5% abv) Clear, deep golden colour with a mid-sized and not very persistent, slightly off-white frothy head. Sweet caramel-malty nose, slightly bready and nutty with traces of cardboard. Medium-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Cara-malty, slightly bready and nutty taste with light herbal accents towards the finish, which is moderately dry, sweet-bitter and malt-accented. Although it is close to their Volksfestbier I´d say it is a different brew (26.05.08).

(bottle, Volksfest-Bier, 5.5% abv) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized, slightly of-white foamy head. Sweet grainy (cara-)malt aroma with notes of biscuits, honey and a very subtle fruity touch of pine apple and ripe pears in the background. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Cara-malty taste with biscuits and honey-fruity notes; medium-dry, sweet malt-accented finish with a very shy hoppy bitterness. Smooth and quite pleasant; might be the right session-drink on the Volksfest (26.05.08).

Bottle: Deep ruby-amber coloured, mid-sized fluffy beige head, slowly collapsing; clean, moderate nose: sweet dark malt, caramel, the smallest amount of toasted malt, shy hops and a very light metallic touch; moderate, clean sweet-bitter flavour, not too light bodied for a beer of 4.7%, silky MF; traces of cacao in the caramelly, but not too sweet finish, some bitterness round the brew. Good, clean Dunkels are hard to find, this brew is one of those....
