Clear watery with yellow hints even though MiP insisted on the urin hints. Hints of malt in the aroma with vague grassy hops. Flavour was quite dry for the style, Having grassy hops, malt and straw. Finished dry and bitter.

Bottle, 2.8% bought at the brewpub. The bottle looks good. The beer in beer in the glass also. Mild buttery aroma. Clear yellow colour. Very small head. Mild grainy flavour. A bit watery, but tastes OK.

Draught at the Glenk Keller. Mild malty aroma, hint of grassy hops. Clear golden colour. Big stable white head. The flavour is mildly malty with a hint of grassy hops. Not very hoppy or bitter. But clean and, in this case, cold.

The bottle looks simple, but good. The beer in the glass is zippy, nice head. Starts very fruity, like apricot. Good use of hops. Finish modest sourish. Not bad!

On draught at the "Glenkbräu-Garten": Golden with a quite stable white head, distinctive pale-malty and aromatic hoppy nose; solid sweet-bitter flavour, very soft MF, light to medium bodied; lingering sweet-hoppy finish. Superb, moreish stuff.......

(bottle) Clear, pale golden coloured, effervescent hue with a slowly lacing creamy white head. Moderately sweet aroma with emphasis on the malt, also hints of cara-malt, biscuits and rather shy hoppy notes. Light-bitter flavour, light bodied with a very soft carbonation. Malt-accented taste, slightly strawy and a biscuity with soft herbal notes in the background; bitter-sweet, slightly cara-malty finish with a delicate herbal hoppy touch. More a Helles than a Pilsener, but still a decent one (13.05.08).
