A good, full-bodied ale with a well-balanced bitterness. It used to come in BIG bottles here in Sweden but not anymore, pity.

A decent pale ale, not outstanding in any way. Rerate 500 ml bottle: Moderate malty aroma, golden brown colour, good head. Pleasant, malty, well rounded flavour. Decent. A bit alcoholic, in a blind test I would guess it was stronger than it actually is.

Amber coloured. Neutral aroma with hint of green apples. Light-bodied, near thin, with low bitterness and slight sulfur aroma. This ale got megabrewed written all across it.

Found this in a green bottle and the result was as expected: first crack of the crown and skunk hit my nose. Otherwise, a nicely balanced light creamy ale with a nice hop presence. A very unusual ale however, with many lager characteristics.

It used to be this was the best English ale I could find. Thankfully that is no longer the case.
