(Keg at Kaski, 20150627) The beer poured clear and nearly black. Its head was quite large and almost white. Aroma had pine, sweetness and liquorice. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were liquorice, grass, sweetness, burnt malts, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt and bitter. A brew with nice liquorice aroma and taste. The finish turned a bit too burnt.

Aroma is odd with sweet malty tones, ripe fruits and some spiciness (cinnamon? broth cube?). Flavour has broth cube, resiny tones, some spiciness and woody malty notes. Weird but not bad. The biggest flaw here is that this is too musty – drinkability is not that great.
I read only afterwards that this was a smoked. Did not recognize the smoke, I could feel only spices here. But now that I know, I feel some grätzer-like smoky wortyness here.

Tap at Pub Winston, Pori. Slightly hazy yellow color, medium-sized white head, lace. Aroma has glueish berries, saison yeast and some herbal notes. Light-bodied. Pale malty. Front has some typical Saison yeasty peppery notes. Then quite strong bitterness. At least partly from seabuckthorn berry - some acidity there. Aroma was not so inviting but reasonably refreshing flavor. Ok brew for being the first one from these bears.

Dark ruby color, good creamy beige head. Berryish aroma, some toasted and almost smokey notes. Light to medium-bodied. Hoppy and berryish front. Then sweetish chocolaty flavors in the finish. This is a bit weird brew to be called as a porter. Closer to American style Brown ale.

Draught @ Black Door. Aroma has oat, milk chocolate and slight tartness. Flavour is somewhat tart with milk chocolate, nuts, coffee and green apples. Kuninkaankartano house aroma is unfortunately present.

(Keg at Soho, 20150307) The beer poured deep amber and cloudy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had fruitiness, malts and creamy toffee. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, malts, creamy toffee, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, sweet and bitter. A rather nice malty IPA.

(Keg at Tuulensuu, 20150307) The beer poured dark reddish brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had metallicness, dark chocolate and burnt malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, sweetness, metallicness, earth and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt and bitter. Unbalanced and quite unpleasant.

Draught @ Kaski Bistro & Baari. Aroma is sweetish with resiny malt, hops and tropical fruits. Flavour has resiny malt, some acidic berries, fruity hops and grapefruit. Also some strawberry tones after some sips that take over at the middle of the glass. Too tart and acidic for my taste.

(Keg at Gallow’s Bird, 20140830) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had spiciness, sourness, fruitiness and tangerine. Palate was medium bodied with high carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, spiciness, grass, malts and bitterness. Afteraste was sour, spicy and bitter. A rather nice saison. A bit harsh.
