(Keg at Kaski, 20140616) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had fruitiness, liquorice and burnt malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, burnt malts, grass, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity, burnt and bitter. Initially the brew gave a good impression but after warming up a bit the burnt flavours became too overwhelming and drowned the fruitiness almost completely.

Bottle@Yesprs (21/03/2014) - pours brown with reddish hue and a thin tan head. Sweet fruity and toasted malty aroma and taste, caramel, and some light herbal spice in there.

Bottle@Yesprs (21/03/2014) - pours gold with white head. Aroma and taste is sweet and acidic yeasty and fruity, vinegar, and kind of weird medicinal taste to it.

Draught @ Bruuveri 10.6.14. Poured near black with a thick brown head. roasted malt, hops, licorice and strong coffee in aroma. Surprisingly full body for this Abv. Roastedness, fruity hops, licorice and coffee. Gets messier towards finish, but overall a nice brew.

Draught @ Bruuveri. Aroma is rather nice with licorice and resiny hoppiness. Also some licorice root. Flavour has strong and unpleasant herbal hops with gooseberry bush leaves. Also tobacco and vegetables. Aroma was neat but flavour is a total disappointment after that. Perhaps this is too raw?

Hazy orange color, decent white head. Aroma is grainy, wheaty with light herbal hoppyness. Medium-bodied. Wheat, orange peels, sticky yeasty flavor. Even a bit grainy. Not refreshing enough for purpose. Perhaps it was too yeasty. At least no off-flavors.

50 cl bottle @ home, BBE 31.05.2014
Aroma has grassy hops, some grainy malt and buttery tones. Also hints of hay. Flavour has grassy hops, some minerals and herbal tones. Finishes with butter and strong grassy hops. Clean and solid, something between German and Bohemian. Perhaps a bit musty, does not feel that refreshing.

Somewhat stale aroma with funky yeasty notes, some malt and hints of berries. Flavour starts with malt and berries and turns soon into yeasty funkiness. Also some berry juice tones, citrus and hints of grapefruit. Some grassy hops occur at the middle of the glass. Palate is foamy and a bit too high on CO2. Slightly messy and straightforward – and even watery after some sips. But at least this lacks the house aroma ( = feeling of contamination.)

Flavours were malts, white bread, fruitiness, cirtrcness and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. A clean but somewhat musty brew. And is this brewery really a brewery?

Tap at Black Door, Helsinki. Aromas and flavours: Grain, wheat, fruits, hops and malts. Quite carbonated and aftertaste is quite weak. OK, easy drinkability.
