Bottle: Hazy, amber coloured, quickly diminishing off-white head; dark malt, caramalt, nuts and some fruits in the aroma; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; traces of cacao in the bitter-malty finish. Decent, but a bit unharmonic. Is it a Dunkel or a Kellerbier....

(bottle) Clear, reddish brown colour with a mid-sized beige foamy head. Sweet and slightly yeasty roast-malty, melanoidinic and a bit Bock-like aroma with caramel. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with an almost crispy carbonation. Roast-malty, minimal yeasty taste with hints of dark bread, caramel and light herbal accents; dry (it´s “hochvergoren”) and moderately roasted, malt-accented finish with a light burnt and hoppy bitterness. A pleasant "zwickl´ed" Dunkel (23.05.08).

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a lazing orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and wheat, and so is the flavor, leading to a dry wheaty finish.

Milder undwässriger Antrunk, etwas herb, dezent hopfig, etwas getreidig. Man schmeckt den Alkoholentzug deutlich, da es nur 30% sind, nur in geringem Maße, aber das reicht aus, um die meisten Aromen auf ein Minimum zu schrauben. Nicht mehr und nicht weniger als eine gelungene Sommererfrischung. Test vom 7.10.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,7,9,6,9,7 - 7,65

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Moderately sweet strawy and slightly perfumed malt aroma with light notes of marzipan. Light-bitter flavour, soft malty base with light herbal hops in the wings; light to medium bodied with a medium carbonation; almost dry; bitter and slightly acidic finish with a cheap hop-character. Not completely bad, just plain and boring.

(bottle) Hazy, pale golden colour with a massive but not very persistent foamy white head. Slightly sweet, slightly sour, moderately wheaty malt aroma with strong phenolic notes (cloves, band aid) and rather restrained fruity esters; also a touch of cardboard. Light-sweet and sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a medium carbonated mouthfeel. Moderately wheaty, citrus fruity taste with a whiff of banana; a bit slim, fruity and light spicy finish. There are a lot of better ones out there.

(bottle) Hazy, bright orange colour with a moderate, eggshell-coloured foamy head with lace. Sweet, slightly yeasty and wheaty nose with with apricot and citrus on a phenolic background. Bitter and slightly acidic flavour, light to medium bodied; quite smooth on carbon for a Weizen. Yeasty, slightly wheaty taste, moderately fruity with a strong presence of phenols; strong yeasty bitter finish with a restrained fruit-character. Unbalanced Ur-Weisse.

Bottle @ Chris_o shindig 2007. Unclear light amber color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate yeasty, banana, gum, wheat. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft.

Bottled. Deep golden colour, mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is yeast, wheat and some hints of acidicness. Flavour is very fruity, wheaty and slightly yeasty. Leaves a strange rubbery aftertaste.
