(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a big blond foamy head. Grassy and spicy hops aroma with light sweet grainy malt and a subtle fruitiness. Soft bitter flavour with a rounded malty sweetness; light to medium bodied, smooth carbonation. Slightly grainy, moderately bitter and aromatic hoppy finish. Pleasant Pilsener, brewed by Brauhaus Schweinfurt since the take-over of Büttner Bräu, Bad Königshofen in 1993.

Pours a slightly cloudy yellow. A definite aroma of banana essance, mixed with some lemon. The taste is similar, a definite hint of banana with citrus bitterness and some yeasty overtones. I found the taste dissipated a little quickly though, it was quite a full flavour, but overall it was still nice.

Bottle: Pale golden, mid-sized, slowly collapsing white head; moderate grainy-bitter nose with a lot of aromatic hops; robust, a bit dryish bitter flavour, light to medium-bodied; sweet-malt, grain and aromatic hops in the finish. A pleasant, well made german Pilsener............

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a beautiful and dense foamy white head. Herbal, slightly grassy hop aroma, backed with a light-sweet malt character. Bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a pleasantly smooth carbonation. Distinctive herbal hoppy taste with a moderate grainy malty background; dry hop bitter finish with a good length. Tasty, refreshing Pilsner; a goodie.

Red-brown, accajou beer, cloudy, with very creamy, persistent head. Malty, sweet nose, but dark malts - getting faint bread and sugar syrup notes. Dry liquorice, bitter finish. Very strange combination, virtually no rest sweetness. Quite yeasty. Rather well-bodied. It’s neither a Dunkel, neither a typical Kellerbier. Ends quite dry after all the sweetness. Dry grainy. What IS this? Pretty unique.

Draught Pale yellow, cloudy beer with tenacious white head. Citrussy nose, obvious wheat, very little lactic notes. Very dry taste, very wheaty, with faint citrus flavour, bit burning, bubble gum and more citrus coming up more retronasal. Medium bodied, typical wheat slickness. Aftertaste is very bitter, nearly metallic. Another good Weizen, for the citrus lovers.

Bottle. Slight sweet malt aroma with metallic hints. Dark brown color with decent head. Sweet malt blended with mild hops flavor. Nice body. Much more hops than most beers of this style.

Bottle. Peach-banana aroma - light clove. Light tan cloudy color with small head. Nice fairly complex flavor - banana, orange, cloves, yeast and wheat. Decent body for a Weizen but still a bit watery. Very nice.

Bottle. Primarily a banana malt aroma with slight barnyard as well. Medium tan color with little head. Light sweet orange and malt flavor. On the watery side. This is a Zwickelbier made from yeast and wheat so it is very much like a Hefe Weizen. I really like this beer even though it is on the weak side - a very unique beer - has both Zwickel and Weizen elements.

Bottle. Strong coffee malt aroma. Orangish brown opaque color with next to no head. Sweet coffee malt flavor primarily but also with a subtle cola flavor as well - moderate carbonation. On the light side but enjoyable.
