Brauerei Neunspringe owns 1 brewery/brand:
Description
The brewery was founded in 1867 as the Dampfbrauerei Carl Kuntze. Later the name was changed into "Brauerei Neunspringe" on an old field name which in turn is derived from nine springs in the source area of the Hahle, from which the brewery draws its spring water. The brewery survived the war and stayed in the hand of the Kuntze family. But in 1953 the brewery was confiscated and transferred to a state-owned company, a situation that lasted till the end of the GDR. After a trust agency period by the Treuhandanstalt, the company became in a private limited company (GmbH) again in 1994.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass dark brown, almost black, nice head. Starts strong, malty, light alcoholic, not too intense. Soft-malty notes, earthy, hints of chocolate. Also some wood. Very well balanced and the alcohol is really well hidden. Could show a bit more character, but a good one.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass light brownish, small head. Starts mild, quite sweet, modest malty. Light roasty. Finish a bit flat, still too sweet. Okay, but nothing special.
