Bottle, 4.6%. Metallic aroma. Clear golden colour. Small white head. The flavour is watery, low bitterness, slightly fruity. More water in the finish. Actually tastes just a little bit like a low alcohol beer.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy dark ruby with small light tan head. Sweetish aroma of lozenges and malt. Bittersweet flavour of malt and fruit with some roasty and candylike notes. Not quite the flavour of port but rather fruity. Booze in the aftertaste. OK but more interesting than delicious.

Bottle, 6.2%. Sweet candy aroma, sweet liquorice, OK roasted. Very dark brown colour, seems clear. Small stable light brown head. The flavour is fruity with a mild brown sugar note. Ends drier, mild and clean bitterness with more fruit. Does not taste of port as such, but I guess the fruitiness comes from that.

Appearance: Deep nutty brown color with small off white head that ends up in a thin layer.
Aroma: Rich caramel malty, fruity and some cognac.
Palate: Medium body. A bit sweet and a mild bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Solid deep caramel malty, rich fruity and some cognac.
Overall impression: Feared a lot of alcohol in this one. Quite balanced and ok. Most useful in food.
Personal stats: Bottle Gundersen brought with him from summer camp in Denmark.

Bottle shared with Dutchdrebus @ weekly tasting. Deep dark red color, small beige head. Weird aroma of liquorice and something I can’t quite put my finger on. Taste malts, chili, liquorice and weird. Don’t like it at all.

Bottle @ benzai. Very dark brown colour with a minimal, lacing off-white to light brown head. Smells sweet, liquorice, wet and warm hay, horseblanket. Tastes very malty, sweet. Medium body, soft carbo. Tastes like it hasn’t fermented properly.
