Many thanks to Beerhunter111 for sharing. Sweetish cherry syrup with hints of alcohol. Not much honey, fresh and smooth, mild sweetish ending. No mead there, just sweetish cherries.

Bottle shared with Erzengel! A clear purple red colour. Aroma of sweet cherries, well hidden mead. Aroma of sweet cherries, honey, sticky mouthfeel.

500ml ceramic bottle from Beers of Europe. Golden colour, no head and aroma of honey, melon. Taste is honey, sugary, fruity & earthy notes, hint of marzipan and some warming alcohol. Medium bodied, low carbonation, warm finish. Quite OK.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Vova’s place. Thanks Vova. Clear gold. Aroma of honey, a bit cookie-ish, with some fruitiness. Sweet flavor with honey, some fruitiness, a cookie-ish note and a bit of alcohol.

Sampled from a big bottle at the Grand Tasting at the RBNG-event at Fredrik 3.’s Hall. Yellow-gold body. Naked at the surface. Aroma is sweet with honey and dried fruits. Sweet taste of sugar, honey and fruits. Well bodied, however, way too sweet (Fredriksten festning, Halden 15.02.2014).

Clear golden color with no head. Sugary, honey and spicy nose. A bit sweet and absolutely flat. Honey, fruity and some spices in the flavor. Not my style, but quite ok.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldener Met, Schaum existiert nicht. Geruch sehr süß nach Honig, alkoholisch. Geschmack sehr süß, intensiv nach Honig, minimal würzig, alkoholisch.
