Pours clear pale yellow with no head. Aroma has notes of honey, raisin and alcohol. Taste is medium to heavy sweet with a warm, sweet honey finish. Body is full, texture is sticky, no carbonation.

Bottle. Claret with a brown hue - look like ol red wine, leaves a layer insted of legs though. Aromatic honey aroma, light heather, a hint cherry. Fruit juice intensifies on the palate, sweet cherry nectar first, then the honey shines through. Sweet, could have slightly more complex notes, but pleasant nonetheless.

Bottle, 75cl , courtesy of Papsoe. A clear, ruby pour leaves no head. Flat. Cherries, some heather and a good dash of honey in the aroma. The flavor is sweet and cherry-like, with cherry pits and some honey. Weak on honey actually. Overall, quite nice, but I prefer my meads to taste mead and not being dominated by cherries. 100814
