Bottle at The Garrick, pours a clear bronze with a medium white head. Nose brings out English hops, some toffee and bready malt. Flavour is quite fruity, with stone fruits, English hops and toffee. Not a very good balance nor very pleasant flavours. Passable but nothing interesting.

On nitro tap at McHugh's, pours black with a creamy beige head. Nose brings out dry bready toffee and some light espresso overtones. Flavour is very restrained, with light dry espresso and some cocoa. Very creamy palate and easy to drink. Solid.

On tap at McHugh's, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Nose is very floral and dry hop heavy. Flavour is pungent, with loads of floral hops and ample bitterness. Pretty solidly balanced. Nice stuff.

Bottle. Pours a clear orange with small white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is strong floral hop and pine. Medium mouth with nice hop bite,citrus and resin finish. Very good.

Bottle. Chestnut brown with a short head. Aroma is dark fruit and a little spice. Flavour is very much at the front of the mouth, very dry palate. Bready and salt, dry spice.

Bottle at home from asda. Aroma is sweaty grainy a little fatty initially. Later a little citrus. Light yellow golden colour with a lasting head. Flavour is tangy grains, light honey, grain tannin. Palate is light, abrasive carbonation. OK.

Bottle at home from asda. Aroma is dry roast, nutty earthy, some lactose sweet. Flavour is composed of dry chalky roast, mineral, little spicy edge, hint of dark choc. Opaque black caramel coloured pour with a lasting light tan head. Palate is medium light with a little chalky carbonation.

Bottle at home from asda. Aroma is earthy twiggy, woodland berries and burnt sugar. Flavour is composed of twiggy nutty malts, little dried fruit. Palate is medium light with moderate carbonation. Pretty ordinary.

Bottle at home in northern Ireland. Dull light amber / orange coloured pour with a greyish thin head. Aroma is nice hedgerow/ grassy hop with grainy cereal malts, flavour is composed of grainstore wheat, tannin, hedgerow hop, chalky water. Little lingering floral lavender. Palate is light, chalky, spritzy carbonation. Decent bitter.

Bottle at home in northern Ireland. Chestnut brown copper coloured pour with a lasting loose cream coloured head. Aroma is twiggy, earthy, caramel, little mushroom. A little dried apple and raisin on the nose as well. Flavour is composed of nutty, twiggy malts, dried fruit, little alcohol bite. Little bitterness in the finish. Palate is medium sweet, moderate carbonation.
