Black, ruby edges, thin white head
Aroma of dark fruits, rum soaked dark fruits, fairly boozy
Taste of sweet dark fruits, soft sweet sherry, sweet fruity dark malts, less booze in the flavour, interesting.
Palate - Medium body, a bit thin. Sweet palate. Finish as main flavour, sweet dark fruits, warming alcohol.
Overall - Nice fruits in this. Wasn’t a stout to me though, maybe more near a strong old ale / porter cross. Hopefully this will come out in bottle. One of the best beers I’ve tried from this brewery so far.

Hazy amber color with a big tan head. Good looking ale. Nice lacing. Bready, malty and fruity aroma. Nice body. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Maybe a bit rich carbonation. Oily texture. Bready, malty, fruity, plums and raisins in the flavor. When I rate this one, it is listed as a porter….hmmm more like a low alcohol Barley Wine. Tasty ale.

Bottle. Deep gold with a thin white head. Aroma is stale honey malt. Flavour is dusty honey, a little ginger on a watery sour finish.

[ As Whitewater Hoppelhammer ].Clear medium to dark amber orange color with a small, virtually none, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, fruity, hop oil, light resin. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, hoppy, warm fruit, light resin. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20130813]

Bottle @ Assentoft tasting. Nice head with excellent duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are little lactose acid, citrus, caramel, malt and hops. A little off.

Cask in Errigle Belfast. Brown orange colour with dense creamy head, light haze. Aroma is caramel apple, sweet malts. Flavour is fairly plain, slightly stale malts, some earthy homey. Mid sweet palate, low carbonation. Disappointing.
