Bottle from Dicey Reilly in Ballyshannon. Appearance - amber with a nicely proportioned head. Nose - fruitcake with dried lemon peel. Taste - dried fruit with a popcorn finish. There’s a citrus note lurking throughout. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy yet crunchy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - good complex beer.

Bottle from Dicey Reilly in Ballyshannon. Appearance - amber with a decent head. Nose - light caramel and citrus. A hint of pine. Taste - more of the same and the caramel dominates. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a finish that could be fresher. Overall - more caramel than the fresh citrus I was hoping for.

50cl bottle from a trade with Beersiveknown, many thanks! Pours clear amber colour with a small most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of strong malt, wet hops, spruce, spices. Taste of mild citrus hops, spruce, resinis, toasted malt.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with medium beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong roast, dark fruit, cocoa. Medium mouth, nice roast, dark chocolate, nuts, light finish, good.

Bottle. Toffee malt and straw aroma. Amber with moderate head. Sweet toffee malt and moderately bitter herbal hay flavor. Decent body. This is the first "ruby porter" I’ve come across - not really much difference from a regular bitter.

Cask (backlog). Ambery brown colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is caramel, some mild nutty notes with mild honey and some bready and biscuity maltiness as well. Flavour is crisp maltiness, ripe fruits, some mild nutty and mild toasted and ashy notes.

Deep copper color with a fine off white head. Caramel/toffee malty, mild yeast fruity and herbal ale. Faint roasted notes. Medium body and soft carbonation. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness.

Unclear amber color with off white head. Some lacing. Ugh this one had to much yeast left onboard. Destroyed it completely. Also some dried fruits and toffee. Will maybe ne ok when the yeast has left the building. Also a bit to soft carbonation. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Almost hopeless to end. Well I did not at all end this one.

Amber gold colour medium white head. Malted toffee aroma in the main, toasted malt in taste with some pine coming through. Dry bitter finish.
