Dark amber to mahogany color; small head. The aroma is very light: ashes, roasted malt, dirty water; later it becomes somehow breadish and nutty, that’s better. Lean mouthfeel, with simple, dry caramel flavor. Correct bitterness, a bit dusty in the end. Easy.

Bottle. A slightly unclear one, dark amber to brown in color and with a decent off-white to beige head. Roasted nose with dried fruits, a touch of umami. Smooth and full-bodied with a pleasant carbonation. Roasted, meaty flavor with dried fruits. Bitter towards the end. A quite nice one indeed, but far from world class. Drinks easy though. 110820
