Bottle. Slightly cloudy amber with a beautiful big white head. Aroma of honey, caramel and a dose of herbal hops. Taste of honey, caramel, minerals, grains, bread and some yeast. Moderate bitterness. Medium carbonation. Watery mouthfeel. This is ok.

Bottle. Clear pale gold sporting a decent white white head. Aroma of grains and earthy/floral hops. Taste of grains, grass, minerals, bread and dough. Moderate bitterness. Medium carbonation. Pretty mild but balanced. A case of this shared with the right people plus a couple of thrash metal LPs would make for an evening well spent.

Optisch tiefes braun, schöner Sahneschaum. In der Nase hefig, malzig. Ebenso im Trunk, spät leicht röstig, kurz Schokolade. Passt.

Im Glas steht trübes Bernstein. Die cremefarbene bis leicht bräunliche, feinporige Schaumkrone hat eine flaumige Konsistenz, ist dabei sehr stabil und langlebig! Unglaubliche Optik! In der Nase kräftig malzig und holzig-würzig. Das Gesamtbild kann man als süß-holzig-herb beschreiben. Der Antrunk wirkt frisch und fruchtig-malzig. Im Mittelteil präsentiert sich ein guter Körper mit fruchtig-malzigem Charakter. Ein leicht estriger Einschlag lässt sich dabei nicht verleugnen. Ein wenig enttäuschend ist die Tatsache, dass man kaum Würze oder Hopfenaromatik vernimmt. Zumindest mit einem wesentlich würzigerem Charakter würde man rechnen. Generell kann man aber sagen, dass dieses Bier einen doch recht urigen Eindruck hinterlässt. Haptik und Süffigkeit sind durchaus gut und entsprechen im Großen und Ganzen auch dem gesamten Trinkverlauf. Der Nachtrunk wirkt süß-herb bis leicht estrig. Fazit: Auch wenn dieses Kellerbier nicht schlecht ist - besser geht immer.

Sehr trübe Farbe. Herb fruchtig. Ein leichter Hauch von Wermut und Honig. Sämig, süffige Konsistenz. Vielleicht etwas zu süffig, da könnte mehr Druck auf dem Kessel sein. Trotzdem ein anständiges helles Weizen.

Schnapp-Fläschla: Clear, pale golden, lazy carbonation, small white foamy layer, mild sweet-grainy nose with traces of old, nearly rotten fruits, even milder bitterness underneath; mild - again - sweetish flavour, bitterness hardly detectable, light bodied - at least soft; shorter sweetish-grainy flavour. Hardly moreish...

0,5 l swing top bottle from a local Hol´ Ab! market. Clear golden, more than one finger white head. Grassy straw on the nose, little bit fruity. Taste starts smooth grainy with caramel, spicy, fruity background. Low bitterness in the second part. Easy drinking stuff.

0,5 l swing top bottle from a local Hol´Ab! market. Murky golden with an one finger white head. Sweet caramel and some apple fruity on the nose. Taste starts with a lot of caramel. Grassy, fruity sweetness, increasing pale grain. Getting a little bit dry. Thick texture. Above average carbonation. Not bad.
