Tiny cup with ramen the sweetness helped balance the spicy noodles a touch. Nose is vanilla and cedar. Tastes of vanilla, cedar, cotton candy, bubblegum, some alcohol. Too sweet for me and oily texture.

Glass. A bit yellowish and oily. Decent enough kimoto nose, lactic, rice. Nice acidity, yogurt flavors, lightly fruity. Decent honjozo.

Grabbed cheap bottle of sake in a panic not finding what I was after. List as just ginjo not junmai ginjo so hopefuly same sake. Pours yellowish hued water. Nose is nothing remarkable hint of rice and alcohol. Tastes of of polished rice, alcohol, hint of honey dew, maybe light coconut, and small vanilla component. Harsh cheap palate. My own fault on this purchase.

Bottle at home enjoyed while rest of family snoozed. Pours relatively clear with slight yellow/green hue. Nose is rice and some fruit. Tastes of pear, honey dew, rice pudding, light botanicals, and lingering finish. Creamy mouthfeel relatively rich palate. Alcohol hidden well but felt booziness after half a bottle. for a better review read the one below mine.

Can from Yamaya. Nice cedar nose, dry, mild, with rice. Woody cedar flavor, some vanilla, though much less than the cheaper version, and much less sweet. This really has the right amount of barrel, which is rare. Light and peppery. Ok. Normally I hate taruzake, but this one may be the best I have had.

Neocup from Yamaya. Hazy yellow, oily. Sweet citrus nose (sudachi), some sugar. Flavors of sudachi, which is a sweet, and herein a bit stinky citrus, lightly sweet and funky, and a touch of rice. There is no much sake character here, as should probably have been expected. It is also a bit boozy feeling for only 10%. Ok though not great.

180 ml cup. Strangely, this is kimoto. Nose of cedar, vanilla, cream, candy. Far too sweet and candy like in the flavor, oily. Interesting but a bit too fake tasting.
