25/9/2021. Bottle sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed. Pours clear and colourless with no head. Aroma of fragrant rice water, melon, flowers, hint of chocolate. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness, just a little harsh. Moderate body, no carbonation. Nice alcohol tingle to finish.

300ml bottle from Japan Centre. Clear very pale yellow colour, no heed and aroma of rice, melon, fruity. Taste is rice, melon, mellow, fruity. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry mellow finish. Straightforward, quite drinkable.

720ml bottle. Great fruity nose of peach and pears. Nice and mild fruity beginning. Nice soft, pears, mild fragile. Moderate sweetish, lots of fruity pears, melons, soft and round. Very nice balanced, soft and mild, easy to drink with depth.

The taste on the nose - dominant aroma is of malted rice Koji. The taste on the nose - secondary aromas find vanilla, white peach, fruity aroma, melon and honey. The first impression of intensity in the mouth is of medium strength’s sake. The aroma on the tongue is slightly dry. The body is round. The taste intensity is normal, and the taste persistence is sufficient. The taste is pleasant. The final mouth sensations of ready to drink. In the mouth the aroma is that of caramel, banana, spring water, honey, popcorn, anise and melon for a delicate taste. VARIATIONS Plus, drunk at room temperature (My vote 6.8/10). Drunk at room temperature. The olfactory intensity is normal, and the olfactory persistence is sufficient. The nose taste - secondary aromas traces vanilla, melon and fruit. The first impression of intensity in the mouth is of medium strength’s sake. The aroma on the tongue is rather dry. The body is full. The taste is high and good. The taste is pleasant. The final mouth sensations are ready to drink. The aroma in the mouth bears signs of condensed milk, vanilla, peach, gin, resin, spices, soy and umami. VARIATIONS Plus, drunk hot (My vote 6.6/10).
