Sweetish, slightly fruity-floral aroma of lemon peel, apple juice and some grains. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, slightly fruity-floral taste of grains, lemon peel, some straw and light apple juice, followed by a short, gently bitter finish. Dumpfer, dunkel herb-honigartiger Beginn. Etwas getreidig, weiter, mehr dumpf als süß, mild würzig. Mittellanger Abgang bei konstanter Aromatik. Muss nicht sein. 5/3/4/3/6/3

Süffiger, wenn auch etwas dumpfer Beginn. Milde Süße, wässriger Hintergrund, weder besonders erfrischend noch bierig. Kurzer Abgang. Meh. 8/5/4/5/9/4

Bottle (Courtesy of MoritzF!): Caramelly, sweet-bitter and mildly fruity nose with delicate boozy traces; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium-bodied and quite soft; slightly lingering caramelly-bitter finish with a slight alcohol-burn in the aftertaste. Well, much better than the usual Sauerland-swill…

Bottle: (Courtesy of MoritzF!): Golden, clear, small and stable white foamy layer, mild sweetish citrussy-fruity nose with grainy-dusty traces underneath; even milder sweetish-sourish ( not caused by infection) flavour with a cryptic bitterness, light bodied, pretty soft; short fruity-grainy finish. Great… but only by Sauerland standards! At least drinkable…
