Kaiserhöfer Schmäußbräu, ein Traditionsbier, Flasche vom Getränkemarkt am Kaulanger, KC. - Kupfergold, klar. - Nase etwas dünn und hart toast- und karamelmalzig mit hintergründiger fränkisch-herbaler Hopfung und nur einer Andeutung von Rauch. - Antrunk schlank toastmalzig mit feiner Karamelnote, dezenter Malzsüße, Anklängen an Rumrosinen und einer zarten rauchigen Note, die nicht so kräftig wie bei einem Bamberger Rauchbier ausfällt, aber doch mitspricht. Durchschnittlich rezent, fast dünn (hat ja auch nur 4,5 %). Im Abgang feine herbale, leicht krautige Hopfenherbe. - Schlankes Landbier, das milde Karamelsüße, feine Rauchigkeit und schlanke herbale Hopfung gekonnt verbindet, leider ein wenig dünn und hart im Mund. Hopfig frisch in der Nase, im Trunk angenehm bitter, aber halt langweilig gehüpft. Okay.

500ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, golden colour with average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Pale malty aroma with a minimally starchy touch, grassy-herbal, hoppy overtones. Taste is minimally sweet, pale malty, floral-herbal, minimally grassy hoppy, moderately bitter. Slightly creamy texture, smooth and soft palate, fine and soft, foamy carbonation. Very clean, drinkable - nice.

Bottle from Meibier.de. Golden colour, mid-sized white head. Malty start with shy Brady hints and a very shy touch of bitter, pleasant grassy-herbal hops in the finish. Nice!
