Bottle from Saké-Kontor, Berlin. Nose of gingerbread, fruity Dominosteine, wood. The Saké starts fantastic deep, lots of intense plums, rich, highly drinkable. The 14% are well-hidden, rich body, marzipan, fruit-filled gingerbread coated in chocolate. Fantastic as a dessert-wine. Long and smooth sweetish rich fruity aftertaste, absolutely natural with a fantastic depth of dried but fruity plums, cake, wood. Neither too sweet nor too sourish. Great!

Bottle from Sake Kontor Berlin. Great floral fresh Sake yeast aroma. Melons, round and fruity. The Saké starts with lots of fruit, typical round and fresh melon with only hints of wood. Round and clear, subtle wood aroma in the background, deep melon with a nice fruity clean Saké yeast aroma on top. Intense rich aftertaste, clear and deep. Great!

Bottle from Sake-Kontor Berlin, 15.5%. Fresh and fruity smooth nose. Intense fragile aroma, fruity fresh. The Saké starts quite dry fruity. Alcoholic hints, very mild and fragile in aroma. Deep but not too intense, very round and easy to drink, great fruity fresh aftertaste, melon, round typical Saké yeast, fresh and mild in the aftertaste. Nice!

720ml bottle. No. 1219. Golden orangey-brown colour, no head and aroma of rice, caramel, leather, solventy, alcohol. Taste is brown rice, caramel, mushroom, leathery, bacterial, boozy. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, lingering papery rice-cake note at the finish. OK.

300ml bottle. Clear pale yellow tinged colour, no head and aroma of rice, melon, boozey. Taste is rice, melon, woody, slight caramel note and grassy alcohol burn. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, dry warming finish. Quite drinkable.
