From my sake backlog. Bottle. Unclear, pale, white/golden body with small bubbles and a small head which disappears immediately. Mild aroma of rice, sake yeast, hint of citric fruit and ashes. Refreshing fruity in flavor, almost a bit surprising, a bit like fruity tonic water, hint of lemon, sweet and slightly acidic. The yeast and rice flavor is more in the background but more distinct in the aftertaste. Medium body and fine aftertaste. Very easy drinkable, probably a nice introduction to Sake. Refreshing and enjoyable, with some authentic flavors intact.

Grabbed bottle from Julios mix things up a touch. Orange and no bubbles. Nose is honey and plum. Tatses of nice plum and honey and herbaceous. Chewy mouthfeel and not sweet. Kiss of alcohol.

15/9/2023. Bottle shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear very pale yellow with no head. Aroma of citrus, rice water, caramel, slight nutty edge. Some toffee sweetness and alcohol bitterness with light spicy notes. Medium body, no carbonation. Quite drinkable.

Medium sweetness and bitterness, nicely balanced. Rich boozy and warming. Medium body, quite smooth, no carbonation. It's higher abv comes through well.

300ml bottle from Japan Centre. Clear very pale yellow colour, no head and aroma of rice, fruity melon, alcohol. Taste is rice, fruity, floral, melon, caramel hint, with warming alcohol. Medium bodied, low carbonation, warm boozy finish. Nicely drinkable.

300ml bottle from Japan Centre. Clear very pale yellow colour, no head and aroma of rice, earthy, booze. Taste is rice, fruity, caramel hint, with earthy grassy boozy notes. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, dry finish. Nicely drinkable.

300ml bottle from Japan Centre. Clear very pale yellow colour, afew short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of rice, melon, booze. Taste is sweetish, rice, fruity, melon, caramel hint, with earthy boozy notes. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, no head, drying boozy finish. Nicely drinkable.

300 ml screwcap bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 15%. Clear faintly yellow-ish colour, nearly like water. No carbonation. Aroma of rice, melon, raw alcohol, mushrooms. The flavour is sweeter than expected, with the same elements as the aroma.
