The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts a bit metallically, dry. Spicy background. Finish a bit hard and dry. Still a good beer!

(bottle) Clear, bright amber colour with a thick, light-beige coloured foamy head. Sweet toasty malty aroma with caramel, liquorice and subtle fruity elements. Sweet flavour, light bodied with a crispy mouthfeel. Aromatic toasty malt-profile, accompanied by notes of caramel, honey and liquorice; rather slim, malt-accented sweet-bitter finish with a delicate hops-character. Pretty nice one, although it lacks a bit body (17.X.08).

(bottle) Hazy, amber colour with a fluffy and slowly lacing off-white foamy head. Dusty, sweet malty, slightly toasty and nutty aroma with light notes of caramel and delicate herbal hops. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth and pleasant carbonation. Soft toast-malty and a bit nutty taste; slim, malty and nutty finish. Lacks a bit body, but anyway a quaffable Kellerbier (16.04.07).
