Draft at BrewWild Pizza Bar. Boy, is this delicious! Two-year aging this wonder of a barley wine in oloroso casks, and you can tell it. A mahogany pour with a bone-colored, no retention, fine head. Aroma is like a nice PX sherry wine: dried fruits, the likes of prunes, raisins, dates or figs, alongside honey and molasses. Mouthfeel is low carb, silky and smooth. Taste starts sweet`n`sour, slick and umami, round and pungent... everything; then to develop bitter and salty corners that tickle and push your taste buds, leading to a very long-lasting, piquant and tannic finish. Great.

Lata 440ml Dorada pajiza con ligera turbidez; espuma blanca con retención moderada. Aroma con notas a mandarina. Sabor con amargor decente, notas a cáscara de naranja, algo cítrica y con notas herbales. Final amargo y sensación de sequedad. Muy buena y fácil de beber.

Bottle on 13th December 2020 from Advent Calendar. Pours hazy amber with shallow off-white foam and scant lacing. Sweet malty and fruity aroma. Citrus and spiciness in-mouth akin to.a Belgian beer. Lingering finish of citrus peel, malts and spices. Full bodied with an engaging texture. A very interesting beer.

Bottle at home. Black with tan head. Coffee, coffee creamer, roasted malts, but of chocolate, vanilla. Fairly bitter, bit a of sharp edge.

Tap @ Sori Taproom, Helsinki. Poured orange/golden in color. Thin head. Fairly hoppy brew with clear orange notes in aroma. Sweetish with citrus fruits, sweetness, minerals. Light to medium bodied.
