720ml bottle from Ueno Gourmet. Fantastic fresh floral strawberry nose. The fresh and fragile Sake smells very clear and round with lots of fresh floral strawberry there.
The beginning is extremely fresh and fruity. Lots of fresh floral strawberries - like the nose. The Sake is clear and round, hints of warming alcohol but lots of fresh floral fragile aroma lying on top. Fascinating round and fruity - like real strawberries. The flavour of the yeast is that immense - it is fascinating. The aftertaste is clear and round. Nice subtle fresh and slightly sweetish fragile strawberry aroma. Absolutely fascinating aroma profile. Complex, deep, not too sweetish or intense. The alcohol-level has only subtle hints of warming, together with the fresh and refreshing strawberry aroma on top of the round and clear smooth Sake body.

Bottle at home, I’ve been neglecting my old friend sake in favor of other pursuits but today back in black. Yellowish pour, light nose of almond milk, florals, and rice. Tastes of almond, resin, floral, rice, honey dew, and grass. Thicker palate not quite as fresh as some Nama.
