Description
The brewery Fuglsang can rightly call itself Denmark's oldest family-owned brewery. Søren Christian Fuglsang founded the brewery in 1865, and today it is some of his great-grandchildren who, with respect for the craft and the raw materials, produce solid South Jutland beer.

The family also runs its own export malt factory, which is Denmark's largest and one of the few independents in Europe - it is the one that supplies a large part of the good malt to Fuglsang's beer.

Can from Rema1000, CPH - golden pour with white head. Aroma and taste is very sweet bready malty and grassy, some corn, straw, metallic on the palate, quite rough overt boozy for the abv. Not a fan.

Hazy, dark amber. Frothy, offwhite head. Aroma has lots of banana and candy. Flavour is malty with sweet, estery notes. Rather strong alcohol feel despite the moderate ABV.

Can. Pours clear pale yellow with a fluffy head that disappears but leaves some lacing. The aroma is malty, with a little bit of lemon, and perhaps a bit of grassy hops but they are very well hidden. Medium sweet with a medium hoppy bitterness and a bit of citrus-y acidity. The palate is a bit watery. Short sweet finish. Pretty OK pilsner except for the lack of hop aromas.
