Cask@GBBF2010. Golden colour with not too much head. Aroma is grass, grains, cooked vegetables and some mild harsh malty notes. Flavour is quite much the same with a big herbal finish.

Cask@GBBF2010. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is bready, eggy, herbal, wooden and mildly florally hoppy. Flavour is quite much the same. Surpringly big bitterness in the aftertaste.

Cask at GBBF 2010. A dark golden coloured pour with a medium fluffy white head on top. Citrus fruit aroma. Tastes pleasantly hoppy, grapefruit, malty, citrus fruit. A very enjoyable and refreshing IPA from a damn good brewery on the south coast.

From cask. Pours clear and pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma is citrusy and mild peachy. Bitter and citrusy, dry peachy. Dry and bitter into the far finish. Ends dry and bitter.

From cask. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is slight hoppy and butterish. Sweet malty, light fruity and sadly also a lasting butterish note. Ends medium dry and fruity, vague butterish note.

Cask@Market Porter. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is caramel malts, fruits, wood and some mild herbal notes. Flavour is quite much the same but has a quite strong earthy touch to it.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 1st July 2010. Almost black with thin off-white head. Rich malts and slight notes of coffee and vanilla - almost like a mild version of Milton Nero. Zingy mouthfeel and highly quaffable. Very well kept in the pub.

Cask. RBESG Rome 2010. Courtesy of Alex420. Slightly hazy golden with a rough white head. Sweetish fruity and somewhat citrusy nose. Light body, almost flat, fruity and citrusy with some bitterness. I would call this a typical Golden Ale - a bit to the hoppy side. 060610

Bottle. What an ugly label. Slightly hazy. Light amber colour, thin bubbly head. Fruity with apple skin, phenols. Light berry esters as well. Gentle bitterness, nice balance and fruitiness (apple, berry).
