[500ml bottle from Tescos, Portsmouth] Pours an unusual, murky ruby-brown. Aroma of wood. Tastes of rich malt, chocolate and apples, with some vinous notes. Finishes with more wood and a dusty bitterness. A top notch bitter, this.
