From cask at Stockbridge Tap. Pours almost clear and golden yellow to orange with a small white head. Mild breadish to wheaty aroma. Flavour is mild acidic and wheaty with a ligt breadish note beneath. Smooth and fruity finish with a light citric bitterness coming through.

No head left; fully hazy amberish beer. Bit of pickles, superimposed on caramel malts and alcohol. Soft-sweet, toffee flavours, as wel as alcohol and fusels. Spicy retronasal. Very velvety texture, but despite the ABV, quite light bodied. Those British... Ends soupy somehow. Average IMO.

Cask gravity at SIBA BF, Paddock Wood. Copper colour thin beige head. Lots of dry, peppery hop. Just an outstanding bitter, just so hoppy, tasty, peppery hop. Like it’s been dry hopped. Biscuity, lovely assertive hops on finish. Balanced, tasty. Lovely.
