On tap at Århus Ølfestival. Clear, golden beer with a nice, off-white head. Fruity nose with some sourish notes. Low on maltyness. Fruity, slightly metallic flavor with some maltyness and caramel. Medium body. Bitter finish, but not very bitter. In fact, I think the beer lacks a lot on bitterness and hoppy flavors considering the brewery says it’s an american pale ale. Easy to drink though, and quite refreshing. (080516)

On tap at Århus Ølfestival. A clear, dark brown beer with a small, beige head. Coffee, butterscotch and some fruityness in the aroma. Flavors of coffee, roasted malt, dried fruit and some bitterness, leading to a coffee finish. Medium body, quite dry. Decent, easy to drink beer, but boring and with the mostly annoying aroma and flavor of butterscotch. (080516)

Bottled. Very deep brown colour, mediumsized head. Aroma is licorice, cardamom, some wheat and also some mild earthyness. Flavour is quite much the same, but more sweet. Licorice, anis and cardamom (or cardamomlike spices) stay in aftertaste along with some earthyness. A bit out of balance maybe, otherwise very good.

Hazy golden color. An ale with almost totally missing flavors, if not for some residual sweetness and light caramel.
