Bottle 500ml.Clear dark black brown color with a small to average, fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark roasted, burnt. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20091022]

Bottle, at Esbjerg Beerfestival. It’s a slightly hazy beer, orange-golden in color, and topped by a minimal off-white head. Citrus and biscuity pale malts on the nose. The flavor has some bitterness, both initially and in the end, with citrus and pale malts too. Medium body, feeling a bit flat, even though the carbonation is good. A rather boring beer, but quenching. 091022

Bottle at EsBF09. Mild liquorice aroma. Black colour, no head. The flavour is mildly roasted, has a bit of used coffee grounds. The finish fades away with some old coffee.
