On tap at Ølfestival 2011. An unclear, brown brew with a minimal sized off-white head. Roasted malts, caramel, some bread and a grassy touch on the nose. The flavor is pretty much the same, but with some dried fruits added, and more on the roasted side than the aroma. Medium body, quite dry. Bready finish. A decent beer, but too boring. Needs more of nearly everything, especially aroma and flavor hops. 110528

Bottle.Dark brown colour with medium beige head.Aroma is sweet rosted and malty,flavor of caramel and dried fruits,mild tosted and well balanced.

Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2011. Cloudy amber, small head. Faint caramel aroma. Sweet and caramelly with rounded mouthfeel. Unfirm with low bitterness and poor drinkabiity.

Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2011. Near black, sma creamy head. Oily, tarry nose. Sweet and thick with medium body and oily sticky mouthfeel. Tarry molasses and coffee, slight resiny bitterness. Harsh.

Medium dark brown head. Opaque black body. Earthy roasty aroma with musty barnyard notes. Sweet, and faintly acidic, roasty earthy soy sauce taste with barnyard notes. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Mid-bodied. Dryish sooty earthy fruity aftertaste. Clean minty sooty flavour lingers for a long time. Not great. (0.1l draft at DBF’11.)

Medium offwhite head. Deep reddish amber body. Roasty malty spicy aroma with earthy dusty notes. Dry-sweet spicy malty earthy taste with roasty notes. Light body. Mild, mealy mouthfeel with slight slickness. Dryish spicy smoky roasty aftertaste with earthy fruity notes. Really nice. Highly drinkable, with lots of character. (0.1l draft at DBF’11.)

Draught@CPH BF 2011. Black colour, small off-white head. Aroma is toasted malts, some liquorice, mild toffee as well as some slight notes of leather. Flavour is liquorice, mild roasted malts, smoked wet wood, some leather and also some dark dry fruityness.
