Bottle, from trade with Papsoe. A copper colored beer, almost clear, and topped by a small off-white to beige head. Caramel, overripe strawberries, dough and a citrusy hint on the nose. Quite acidic in the mouth, with the same strawberries and dough found in the aroma. Hints of caramel. Medium body, quite fizzy. There’s bitterness in the end, as well as the flavors found in the start. Not a very successful one. 110219

Sampled @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2010. Dim orange with a thin off-white head. Weak aroma of caramel and grapefruit with yeast. Flavor is light caramel, light fruity and bitter. Weak and uninspired flavor, out of balance and not really taking me anywhere.

From tap at Black Swan. Pours hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma is roasted malty and breadish. Bitter, acidic and berry fruity. Vague mouldy and citric. Bitter and citric. Rather dry and dark malty. Acidic lasting impression. Weird acidic/sourness - almost like an infection and then ultra dry and bitter.

On tap. Pours an almost clear amber golden with no head. Sweet fruity nose with roasted malt. Solid body, very roasty malts and a little dried fruit. Distinct notes of smoke and burned rubber. Some alcohol in the finish with a discreet bitterness. 070510
