As Byens Øl. Many thanks to Rasmus40 for sharing, ØK 13. Unclear golden body colour. Filmy layer at the surface. Mild, sweet fruity nose. Modest malt-fruity taste, hints of wheat and citrus. Smooth sweet grainy ending. Easy going (Copenhagen 25.05.2013)

Thanks to Rasmus40 for sharing at the third day of ØK 13. Amber coloured body, near-clear. Malt-fruity aromas. Medium dry flavours of oranges and lemon supported by earthy malts. Rather restrained bittersweet ending. Medium bodied. On par with the style (Copenhagen 25.05.2013).

On tap at Ølfestival 2011. As Byens Øl. It pours a lightly unclear body, golden-orange in color and with a minimal-sized off-white head on top. A touch of caramel in the start of the aroma, followed by an even fainter butterscotch hint, then it’s malty and fruity, but rather subdued all the way. Pale malts and some fruityness in the flavor. Could use some more bitterness. Medium body, dry. Short grainy and fruity finish. It drinks very easily and quenches, but it’s also very boring. 110528
