Clear amber, small offwhite head. Malty aroma, grassy, slightly floral hops. Malty and slightly caramely flavour, very light hoppy bitterness and a touch of plastic. Has an unpleasant earthy note in the finish. Not very American and no trace of the advertised citrus or elderflower.

500 ml bottle. Clear golden body with a thin, fast disappearing head. Aroma is heather honey and some caramel. Flavor is sweetish honey, slightly bitter, hint of flowers and light acidic from citric zest. Alcohol is pretty well hidden, just some heat. Medium body and average aftertaste. Not too keen on mead, but this one is rather drinkable as it’s not too sweet.

Bottle. A lightly hazy dark golden mead with some beige bubbles on top. The aroma is herbal and honey-ish, with a caramel note and some citrus notes. It’s dry and medium to full-bodied, with some warmth and a little carbonation. Citrus acid, honey and a herbal hint in the flavor, with bakers yeast showing up towards the end. Not much alcohol warmth. A decent one, but rather boring. 151110
