Draft. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of ginger and lavender. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of ginger on a lightly malty back ground.

500ml bottle, thanks to Skinnyviking. (Almost) clear dark amber body with a low, white head. Fruit-oily aroma with spicy notes. Flavour on the sweet side with honey, late banana and orange. Ends with yeast and noticeable alcohol. Heavy, but though pretty fair (shared with Finn Arvid, Copenhagen 31.05.2008).

Bottle, courtesy of enjoyit. It pours a next to black body with a beige to tan head. Chocolate, burnt malt and coffee in the aroma, nice, but not as good as the flavor. In the mouth it’s full-bodied and warming, the heat coming from the chili, not alcohol. There’s flavor of chocolate, burnt malt and coffee up front, before the chili sneaks up from below and lifts the beer to a higher level. The chili lasts for a good while, and has company by burnt malt and chocolate. A lovely beer proving that chili and chocolate can be a nice blend in beer as well. (080412)

Bottle at ÅBF08. Weak malty aroma. Hazy dark brown colour. No head. Creamy flavour, some malt, mild bitterness. The carbonation is a little rough, but still a quite nice beer.

Cloudy blond color. The usage of the pine needles gives a soapy touch, not much attractive…

2007-09-14, draught at Plan B, Copenhagen, 6-3-6-3-13=31
Cloudy amber color. Delicate aroma of herbal candies (Ricola and family). Medium body structure, with sweet caramel flavor, honey and a nice herbal note (mint, rosemary, camomile…). Not bad.

Hazy blond color. The aroma is light, spicy and corky, with delicate ginger. The ginger is more evident in the flavor; the rest is a dry Belgian Ale; at the end the ginger warms the mouth. A well balanced experiment, refreshing.

Black color; creamy head. Some aroma of roasted malt and cardboard. Good body strength, the mouthfeel is a bit rough; in the beginning the dark chocolate flavor leads; later, the mouthfeel dries up a bit and the chili gently warms the mouth. Special, but well brewed.

Yellow with a big and lasting white head. Herbal aroma, with some ginger, reminded me a lot of Esrum Kloster and Draupnir from the same brewery. Earthy herbal flavour, rather sweet.

Bottle. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are fairly rich with hops. Malt and flowers as well. Nice bitter finish.
